Terie said… - Do not scare tourists! My husband works at the Bellagio! Son at Red Rock. My kids went to school in Kansas City burbs, very safe and quiet. I have friends at Metro and a neighbor working at UMC, I know parts of the city are a zoo. Gangs are all over parts of the city. We don't even have grafitti here...yet.

- OK, maybe I misunderstood. Sorry. I've lived in Southern Highlands for almost 5 years and we have never had crime in any of our two neighborhoods. I think it's a matter of what part of town you live in here, like any place. The northeast is like inner city LA. i just stay south of Sunset unless I'm on the west side. I got robbed at work(banking) in Altanta and Honolulu, so I think everyplace has crime to some extent. My husband has a job he loves and I have my dream house so I'm quite content here. Also, I get to go to offroad racing all the time.

- In case you don't go back to my page let me say it here. Though I'm a transplant, my husbands family is almost native, back to the forties count? Unless someone is native American, their families are transplants, and not the far back. Even the Mormons who were her 100 yrs ago came from someplace else. Without transplants Vegas as we know it would not exist. Nothing wrong with transplants here, as long as they're legal.
